The short version

We collect as little as we can. If you just read the site, we collect nothing about you personally. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and some basic engagement data. We never sell your data, and we don't run third-party ads or analytics.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

We store your email address and when you confirmed your subscription. We use it for one thing: sending you the newsletter you signed up for.

Like most newsletters, our emails include open and click tracking. When you open an issue or click a link in it, we record that, along with your browser's user agent, so we can understand which content is useful and which isn't. We don't use this to build profiles or share it with anyone.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works in one click, no login or confirmation needed. If you also want your data deleted entirely, email us and we'll remove it.

Cookies

The site uses only the essential cookies our framework needs to function, such as a session cookie and a security token for forms. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our server keeps standard request logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and debugging. They are not used to identify or track visitors and are routinely deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just write to the address below and we'll take care of it.
